Scale Collaborative is the owner and facilitator of the program, a dynamic initiative funded by the Community Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.
2025 Fall Cohort
The 2025 Fall cohort of Thriving Non-Profits NL has just begun! Over the coming months, participating organizations will explore strategies for revenue diversification, financial sustainability, and innovative leadership. We are excited to introduce the organizations that are part of this new journey and look forward to sharing their progress as the program unfolds.
2024 Inaugural Cohort
Created by and for non-profit leaders, CSCNL partnered with Scale Collaborative, Community Foundation NL, and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to bring this national leadership program to the province. The 2024 inaugural cohort included 11 organizations that developed revenue diversification plans and strategies for implementation over six months.
The program covered nine revenue diversification strategies, including social enterprise, donations, grants, fee for service, events, leverage, contracts, partnerships, and assets. This partnership represented a significant step toward financial sustainability for non-profits in Newfoundland and Labrador, ensuring they could continue to provide vital services and contribute to the local economy.
